Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Phil 3: 13 & 14
Dear Grace Church Family,
The apostle Paul penned the words on the facing page to the disciples at Philippi. Paul was forever moving forward in his faith. He was inviting them to go on the same journey with him. You can hear his passion in his words as he called them to move forward together. We cannot just plateau in our walk with Christ. We must forever be walking by faith with one another to see his kingdom established in our midst.
For the past two years, our elders invited many leaders in our church to go on that journey about what God had in our future together. We listened to this group of leaders share their vision for us as a church. Then we compiled those ideas into a strategic plan. We then asked 120 folks to serve on the various teams to take these ideas and make them a reality. The teams came back to the elders after prayer, discussion and collaboration and presented concrete plans to achieve their goals. Each team put together a budget of what it would take to see their goals and plan become a reality. The total of all of those plans came to $500,000.
Together, we believe that God wants us to focus on building our church family, facilities, and ministries to build a sure foundation for those God is calling to join our church.
I’m inviting you to go on a journey with the elders and the strategic planning teams. We will move our church forward to build His kingdom in our region and the world. And we will provide a church home where many more will come join us in this vision too.
When we all come together for the purpose of His kingdom, even the gates of Hell cannot stop us. That’s exciting!
Let’s all do our part in advancing His Kingdom among us, in our region and world.
Pastor Ernest
30 Years in the Making
Grace has had an incredible 30 years of ministry. We are looking forward together to God’s plan for us in this next pivotal part of our journey. In order to move forward, we gathered over 50 of our senior leaders and created a strategic plan.
Eventually, teams, which totaled 120 volunteers, produced the plans we are now seeking to implement.
These teams submitted strategies and budgets that will guide us for the next three years as we focus on Experiencing Family together. The elders reviewed and agreed with these plans that came from our leaders and members.
We’ve decided to emphasize four strategic areas of ministry—Community and Fellowship, Worship, Next Generation, and Outreach—totaling $500,000 in ministry vision as we move Forward Together.

Your Next Step
This vision is far beyond the ability of any one person. Achieving our financial goal will require sacrifices from all of us.
We invite you to be prayerfully and financially involved in the FORWARD TOGETHER vision.
The decisions we make today affect not only our generation, but generations to come.
Now is the time to prepare for the future growth of our church family.
From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. - Eph 4:16
