We believe worship goes beyond creating an atmosphere that welcomes God’s presence on Sunday morning. While this corporate worship is important, it is equally vital that we LIVE a life of worship. It is our desire to encourage daily worship in the life of every believer, on an individual basis. Most people see worship as a church activity that involves a band, singers, and a congregation singing a song to God. Simply put, our worship is an offering to God. So, one simple way to describe worship is to look at Romans 12:1-2 (MSG)
But am I Good Enough?
It may be a cliché but we believe the statement, “God doesn’t call the qualified, he qualifies the called.” The heart to serve and interest and dedication to learn are the main characteristics you need to serve on the Worship and A/V teams. You’ll be working with and learning from professionals with years of experience. If you’re willing to put in the effort, we’re willing to train you for excellence.
We consider spirit-filled worship central to the Christian experience. Our goal as a worship team is to encourage and lead people into intimate encounters with God as well as return to Him the high praise that is His due. Musical excellence is important, but we are first and foremost worshipers of the King.
Our Audio / Visual team makes everything work behind the scenes. From live sound engineering, to our streaming services and video production, to the dedicated media team that handles lyrics, lighting, and event production, the A/V ministry keeps everything on track and working for the people of God.
